BeLoved; A love Affair with Philosophy!!!

Ever heard of the brand Philosophy? I saw their products in some shops before and I always became quite excited about their delicious scented bubble baths gels, but I never really got to know the brand as a whole. However, that changed a little while ago when I got invited to come and discover or rather yet test out their products. They presented their collection in a very inspiring way and if I might add the event took place at a beautiful location, Hotel Julien in Antwerp, as well!

Apparently the Philosophy story began when Cristina Carlino, the founder of the brand, got tired of the fact that if you want to have a true facial renewal, the only way to do it, was by having a chemical peeling. Not the best or most pleasantly way as we can probably all agree on and therefore she decided to launch some products, which would have the same results, but without having the same ‘freak-look-à-like’ consequences! It worked and I can gladly say that their goods, with an emphasis on their ‘Hope in a Jar’ & ‘Microdelivery Peel’ now belong to my favourite skincare products!

Hebben jullie al van het merk Philosophy gehoord? Ik had hun producten al wel eens in de winkel zien staan, waarbij ik dan altijd vrij enthousiast werd over hun heerlijk geurende bubbelbad gels, maar ik had nog nooit echt verder gekeken, naar wat het merk nog meer te bieden had. Desalniettemin kwam daar een tijdje geleden verandering in, toen ik werd uitgenodigd om hun producten te ontdekken en uit te testen. Ze presenteerde hun collectie op een zeer inspirationele manier en ik wil er ook graag even aan toe voegen, dat het evenement ook op een ontzettend mooie locatie plaats vond, namelijk in het Hotel Julien te Antwerpen. 

Blijkbaar begon het hele Philosophy verhaal toen Cristina Carlino, de oprichtster van het merk, klaar was met het feit, dat als je een echte vernieuwing van je huid wilt hebben, iemand dat alleen kon bereiken met een chemical peeling. Nu zullen we het er allemaal over eens zijn dat dat natuurlijk niet de beste of de meest plezierige manier is! Daarom besloot Cristina om enkele producten te lanceren, welke wel het zelfde resultaat zouden hebben, maar niet dezelfde ‘freak-look-à-like’ gevolgen. Haar producten sloegen aan en ik wil jullie dan ook graag vertellen dat de Philosophy producten, met name hun ‘Hope in a Jar’ & ‘Microdelivery Peel’, nu tot mijn ultieme huidsverzorging favorieten behoren!
