Haute Cookure; Chez Rachel, a perfect mixture of English Humor and French Cuisine!!!

I often watch English television programmes…Why? I’ll tell you why! As you know I LOVE COOKING and as it turns out there are a lot of good cooking programmes originating across the Northsea. One of my favourite series is; Chez Rachel. Rachel lives in the city which most of us only dream off, Paris. Ahhh Paris mon amour, je t’aime … and yes so does Rachel. In her wonderful small but cute apartment, this English produces the most fantastic French Cuisine recipes. She offers us the perfect way to escape to the romantic city, by showing us around in both Paris as its kitchen.

But the best is yet to come…Chez Rachel has just been translated into an incredible cookbook, so now everyone can create the perfect French dinner without having to take an actual trip to France itself. However, I won’t lie, of course I wouldn’t say no if someone would offer me to go, but with Rachel by my side I feel lucky everyday and therefore this book is a definite addition to my holiday wishlist!

Ik kijk vaak naar Engelse tv programma’s…Waarom? Nou ik zal jullie eens vertellen waarom! Zoals jullie weten is koken één van mijn grootste liefdes en veel goede kookprogramma’s komen tegenwoordig van over de Noordzee. Eén van mijn favoriete series is; Chez Rachel. Rachel woont in de stad waar de meeste van ons alleen maar van kunnen dromen, Parijs. Ahhh Paris mon amour, je t’aime … en ja datzelfde geldt voor Rachel. In haar super kleine, maar oh zo schattige appartement, fabriceert deze Engelse de meest fantastische Franse Cuisine gerechten. Hiermee biedt ze ons de perfecte manier om naar de romantische stad te ontsnappen, door de kijkers in zowel Parijs als de Franse keuken rond te leiden.

Maar het beste moet nog komen…Chez Rachel is sinds kort vertaald in een geweldig kookboek, zodat iedereen nu zelf een perfect Frans diner kan voorschotelen, zonder echt naar Frankrijk zelf te moeten. Desalniettemin zou ik natuurlijk geen nee zeggen als iemand me meevroeg, maar met Rachel aan mijn zijde ben ik elke dag vrolijk en daarom komt dit boek dan ook zeker op mijn verlanglijstje te staan!
