Say what you want about giving young designers a platform to show their work during AIFW, in the end all eyes are always tuned to what the famous brands are going to shows for their new collections. Last season’s Spijkers & Spijkers show, was a truly fantastic and especially amusing event. This year the collection looked a bit less joyfull, although they showed some fantastic lace pieces in the end, which were embellished with funny embroided eyes.Whereas SIS showed a lot of wearable items, Claes Iversen rocked the place with a dozen of beautifull special occasion couture items, which entitled a lot of flowy draperies and futuristic geometric trimmings.
Be aware at Spijkers & Spijkers there's always, someone watching you!
One the second day the beautifull ceiling of the 'Gashouder'caught my eye as well!
A lot of drapings and oversized bows at Claes Iversen.
And of course more shows took place as well, like this colourfull one of Studio Jux
And this crazy *ss show of Marije de Haan, because fashion week wouldn't be fashion
week without some shocking going around...Like shower curtains and teddy bears on
the runway! Or some nice knickers on your face...Right :)!?
