Journal | Recap Fashionclash Maastricht !!!

Last weekend I attended Fashionclash in Maastricht. The event celebrated its 5 year anniversary and so the normally three days lasting event got expended into a longer durable program. From Friday till Sunday visitors could enjoy three shows each night, which all consisted out of five to six designers presenting their work. Among all the designers there were some definite showstoppers with real potential to making it big time. In addition to last weekend’s shows, Fashionclash also holds; a vast variety of pop-up shops throughout the city, various expositions and a supplementary exhibition in Museum Vrijthof, which opened today.

During my visit I stayed the night at the Townhouse design Hotel. They strive to provide their guests with a homely feeling and it really works. Immediately when you enter their hotel, you’re surprised with a real curiosity living room sense. One of the most coolest ideas I ever saw is the possibility to rent a goldfish for your room. I had a fantastic weekend, during which I met the most awesome people! Thanks everyone for making it a trip to remember!
