Fabulous Fashion | Milan Fashion Week

We’re half way Milan Fashion Week and although we saw lots of ravishing catwalk photo’s come by already, some collections simply pop out from beautifulness! I can tell you this much ... It's going to be one heck of a fabulous Spring Summer season in 2015! There are tons of large standing out ball like skirts, beautiful translucent and embroider ankle length dresses, many floral prints and embellishments, masses of indian/bohemian and clean with a touch of empire inspired lines & amazing art influenced pieces. Based on these collections the colours for SS15 will be bright and rusty red tones, vibrant cornflower blue tints, some elements of pastels and basic black & whites. In today’s post the start of my wishlist items and collections … so there’s more to come during the following days as well ;) !

Antonio Marras
Until now Antonio Marras definitely presented one of the more vibrant collections at MFW. His silhouettes are a celebration of warm summer days, full of fashion, fun & laughter! I have this thing for stripes you see and it still amazes me that such a simple form keeps making me happy, but hey it’s simply just does! Don’t you just love those vivacious colours, patterns and artwork inspired items! I absolutely adore these prints, tones and silhouettes AHHHHH!

Etro
Ahhhhh every time I go to Italy I fall in love with Etro over and over again. It might be because I was brought up with a vast knowledge of antique textiles … You see the brand is famous for its use of paisley patterns and prints. Moreover their use of high quality fabrics might be adding to my enthusiasm as well, but whatever it is they managed to WOW me again this season! Their collection is clearly based on Native Indian inspirations and it shows a wide variety of all kinds of garment cuts too.

Les Copains
Obviously blacks & whites are key tones in probably all of our closets. As we all know black is the magic colour since it makes you look skinnier & it hides dirty smudges. On the other hand white makes you look fresh, kind and it cools your body during summer time. However that’s all fine but most of the time we go for basics and choose simple silhouettes. Les Copains displayed the perfect clean cut items, which are just simply different. Thanks to handsome fabrics, different use of materials, cute shapes, pretty prints & attractive embroidery they turned basic in to fabulous!
