Give-Away | Win Robèrt van Beckhoven's new Bread Baking Book

A new year means creating new intentions and so I decided I’m going to bake more bread in 2015! As some of you might remember last year I participated in the Dutch version of the Great British Bake Off called ‘Heel Holland Bakt’ and if not check out my old blogposts here, here, here and/or here . So it didn’t come as a total surprise that some of my good intentions were based on baking haha! When I was young, I never really knew how to bake a good bread, but over the last few years I learned a lot and I really grew to love creating such a wonderful though daily necessity. In short you can imagine how thrilled I was when no other than ‘Heel Holland Bakt’ judge Robèrt van Beckhoven published a new bread baking book.

With his book, ‘Meesterlijk Brood’ you’ll learn everything there’s to know about bread. From white to rye, from buns to baguettes and from savoury to pastry recipes, the book includes them all. Moreover it’s filled with the most fantastic and also explanatory images to plainly depict everything step by step. Still not sure how to create the perfect bread? Have no fear because at Robèrts site, which you’ll find here, the Master Boulanger and Master Patissier (he’s the only one in the Netherlands to have earned both titles), will explain everything clearly in some uploaded video’s. And if you still can’t get enough, which wouldn’t surprise me AT ALL, than you can always visit him at his new bakery based at ‘De Leerfabriek’ in Oisterwijk, where he and his team run a shop and also organize several workshops. So please GO, because honestly Robèrt is a unique, one of a kind and truly inspirational man. He really knows how to encourage people, he speaks with such great passion and most importantly he is incredible kind, compassionate & still down to earth … like I said a real inspiration for everyone!
