As promised today we’ll continue my journey through Paris, where I was invited to attend a press launch of the Aquaperfect Soft produced by Calor. In yesterday’s post (here) I told you guys that I invested my complete afternoon wandering around a museum. It was raining anyway, so it didn’t really matter, but nevertheless I decided that I would spend my second day in Paris a bit different.
After a wonderful sleep in my hotel, the Mercure Hotel Opera Louvre, which Calor arranged for me, and still filled with joy from the day before, I woke up to see that the skies had cleared and the sun was shining on Paris’ beautiful historical buildings, which I could gaze at out of my hotel chamber’s window. After a quick shower, I joined my fellow blogster Valerie, whom was also invited by Calor for a delicious breakfast. Our petit déjeuner included maple syrup-bacon-pancakes and these adorable teeny-tiny brioches, which you might have seen on Instagram (here) already!

After I checked out of the hotel, I decided I would do some sightseeing, some fashion viewing and some patisserie shopping, so I made a grant tour and decided I wanted to visit Lafayette once more. It had been a while since I went there and as always their beautiful interior was a pure joy. One of my favourite brands, Diptique, has a small corner there … ow how I love their perfumes and scented candles! I also discovered a delicious new perfume collection by Dolce & Gabanna, the velvet line, with my favourite being based on the note ‘Oud’. Moreover I tried some make-up at MAC and bought a new lipstick, called ‘Lady Danger’ (Instagram pic here).

After strolling along l’Opéra, I went to, Pierre Hermé to buy some of their macarons and I decided that I would take some small patisseries from Hugo & Victor as well. In between I had a delicious goat cheese and honey toast at Le Pain Quotidain and furthermore I skipped by some typical Parisian fashion boutiques, to end up at Marc Jacobs and Colette. The famous concept store always amazes me with their wonderful collections and this beautiful Dior dress, which I showed on Instagram (here), is still on the top of my wishlist! Sadly enough, it was time to leave after an hour!
