Too all you foodies out there … STOP … no seriously if you’re doing anything else ... stop what you’re doing and read this blogpost, because I’m telling you YOU WON’T REGRET IT! Yesterday I got the pleasure of being invited by Schweppes to attend Culinaria 2015 in Tour & Taxis in Brussels. I had heard of Culinaria, but I actually never went there! AND OMG WHY DID I NEVER GO THERE!?!? I truly have no idea, because it was like I died and went to food heaven!
Culinaria is a Haute Cuisine food lovers event, where they serve 2 different 9-course menus each day for over 5 days. Some of the best Belgian (star) chefs present their dishes to the food loving crowd. None other than famous chefs and patissiers like: Gert de Mangeleer of restaurant Hertog Jan (***), Yves Mattagne of restaurant Sea Grill (**), Lionel Rigolet of restaurant Comme chez Soi (**), Pierre Marcolini of House of patissier Pierre Marcolini & Joost Arijs of Banketbakker Joost Arijs, present their divine works at Culinaria. All the dishes are accompanied by drinks like; wine, beer and coffee and afterwards you get two glasses of my most preferred liqueur, Licor 43. However my favourite drink of the night came from Schweppes! They’re mixing the most delicious and might I add very big glasses of their Schweppes Premium Mixers and Gins. My personal pick? Their Tonica Ginger & Cardamom paired with BiercĂ©e Gin, I’m telling you TRY IT! Oh you guys I woke up so happy today! I had such a blast and I feel like everyone should go! Infect I’m actually thinking of going again this weekend … Like I said it was pure and utter joy!
Let me know if you decide to go! Ow and please do send me some photos through social media if so!
