BAAAMMMMMMM … Summer is over! Probably a
very sad moment for us all, however I wanted to take the time to reflect on the
best festival I attended this year … once more that honour goes to Extrema
Outdoor NL! As every year I got to visit this amazing fantastically cool festival once more and this year we had an even bigger party than the years before, while XO celebrated their 20th birthday :D! They invited all of their golden oldies and DJs in crime, to spin some redic ass beats and to set a great vibe. The organisation even created some new additional areas to enlarge the festival area even more! I felt like the main stage had a more downturned look and end program, as the years before, however I feel like XO maybe decided to decorate this area in that manner, while they wanted to make it more of an intimate party for all of their loyal festival gangers!
Therefore my favourite stage wasn’t main stage this year, but it was the 20 years of love area! Most of all this section was treasured by me because of its uber fab DJs. I know most of you might not know DJ Roog, but he was my favourite DJ when I was in high school and guess what … I met him :)! Also other artists like DJ Jean, Joost van Bellen & Michel de Hey pumped up the volume in this tent, which made it an amazing celebration! However the complete festival is always an immense joy to attend and I’m sure XO will be heading towards the following 20 years in a breeze! Once more massive congratulations to the team, whom make it happen every year!
