Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending Solar Festival! I must admit that it was one of the most fun festivals I went to in a long time! The festival had a fantastic line up this year, which included dj’s and artists like; De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, Scooter (you know that German guy with the bleached hair, singing ‘How Much Is The Fish?’) and Fedde Le Grand. Moreover they had some fab food, incredible stages and fantastic people, which created an amazing friendly and homely vibe. But most of all I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this festival because of its amazing creative program to top everything off!
Solar is famous for its cool inspirational workshops and creative minds doing their thing on stage! When you move around from stage to stage, you always come across some cool stands or funny spectacles to enjoy. This year’s theme was also called ‘Arty Farty’ so this amazing creativity was shown throughout the complete festival site! They invited comedians to perform live on stage, there where lounge corners styled in Mondrian’s primary colour compositions, a special tarot card reader, beatboxers doing their thing and a whole lot of other fun shenanigans!
