La Vie Fleurit On Tour | Parisian Bistros near la Bastille

Ahhhhh Paris ma chère! How much I love you! How much I love the Parisian life! How much I want to spend at least a period in my life living in this wonderful city! As most of us know, the whole of Paris and the whole of France for that matter, are filled with the cutest little bistros! Bistros are life, if you ask me and so I gathered some nice little addresses for you guys to drink your glass of red wine or to eat a delicious confit de canard, if you find yourselves wandering in the neighbourhood of La Bastille!

Café des Agnes

First up is one of my favourites, Café des Agnes! I discovered this little gem during my trip to Paris for Thailand Tourism, since it’s laying across the delicious Thai restaurant, the Blue Elephant, and we went there for a nice espresso. I’ve been there 3 times and every time is better than the next. Whether you want to drink a delicious cup of coffee, enjoy a fantastic bottle of Rioja or eat the most divine pot au feu … Café des Agnes is your go to!

Café Bastille

A little further along in the street and more close to the Place de la Bastille is Café Bastille. Just as at Café des Agnes, you will find your typical bistro chairs and tables here! What is it about that typical bistro vibe, which tends to get me into a cheerful mood instantly and why don’t we have more cafes like this in other countries of the world!? Any way this is the perfect spot to sit outside and regain some of your strengths, while you take in the daily Parisian life.

Brasserie Bofinger

Last but definitely not least … Brasserie Bofinger. Obviously this is not a bistro, however I couldn’t cope with not telling you guys about this wonderful place. Bofinger is one of Paris’ most famous restaurants. It’s located in a beautiful monumental building dating from 1904. The food is fantastic and that’s why you might be able to spot some celebrities here every once in a while! Moreover the staff is very kind and if you just want to take a little glance inside to admire the wonders of this treasure, you’re more than welcome!
