Belle Beauty | My Red Eyeshadow Adventures !

Ciaooooo bellas, I hope you had a fab weekend? Today I wanted to share this Make-Up of the Day with you guys because I FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY succeeded in integrating a burgundy eyeshade into my make-up. Now for those of you whom have never had the interest or the fascination in trying this … You might find this look pretty … However you'll probably don't understand the REAL STRUGLE behind this achievement haha!

I remember being well uhmmm I think I must have been about 17 or so and I had a break in between classes on high-school … Now back then I had been passionate about fashion for 3 years and I was eager to read every new magazine that hit the stores. So this one day I opened, the French Vogue and there it was … This all burgundy leather 70s look, all by Chanel including their new eye make-up which was a deep tint of red, applied around the model's eye in a glossy smoke eye look. Untill this day I have no I idea why, but I was soooo obsessed by that make up that I simply had to try it myself.

Now you see this turned into a complete quest … First trying to find a brand which had red eyeshades, wasn't the easiest, but then came the real struggle … finding the correct colour and texture. I tried about 10 different shades and brands and they all turned out to be the most EPIC FAILURES of make-up looks I've ever made! Eyeshades after eyecreams after eyepowders turned my eyes into what looked like intensively painful inflammation eyelids, but now my friends the wait is over … I finally found a new shade after 11 years which doesn't give me that look …. YEAHHHHH major beauty bucketlist check!

The one and only product which finally released me from my red pink eye endeavour is an tinted eyeshade powder, which I found during my last trip to Paris. I discovered this incredible make up walhalla called, Make Up Forever. This Parisian brand had the most incredible range of products and that's where I found my 'Star Powder Iridescent Red', a red shade with an iridescent overflow into a blueish purple colour. I applied it both on my upper eyelid and below my eyes. I broke up the redness by using a silver glitter eyeliner which is by The Body Shop and to have an even balance I applied a dark burgundy lipstick from M.A.C. Cosmetics! So what do you think :D!?
